Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning can include many things. In addition to traditional CEU credits, you might want to consider working with your diocese to developing a plan based on your gifts and strengths and how best to acquire any new skills you many need. Resources can be explored based on your plan, and the plan can alter as needed.

Deacons Talking on the Road to Emmaus - SUMMER SCHEDULE
In June, July, and August, we'll be meeting twice a month - on the 2nd Monday for Prayer and Bible Study, and on the 4th Monday for Fellowship and discussion.

4:00-5:00 pm PT / 7:00-8:00 pm ET, on Zoom (links below)

We hope you have a restful and rejuvenating summer!

NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR DEACONS TALKING
The 1st and 3rd Monday night prayer and fellowship evenings of Deacons Talking are taking the summer off, for June, July, and August.

To keep these prayer and fellowship evenings going in September and beyond, we need a few volunteers to help out. We're looking for five volunteers to each take two months (four meetings). The volunteers would gather the readings and prayers, open the meeting, and lead the one-hour worship and fellowship time. If we want to keep this up in the Fall and into 2026, we need to have volunteers lined up by August 1.

If you’re interested, please reach out to Carter Hawley. If we can find enough volunteers to lead us September through May 2026, we’ll start again on September 15. Thank you.
Use this Zoom link for each gathering. Meeting ID: 584 926 3634. The room opens 15 minutes before the start.
