Deacon Compensation

Compensation for Non-stipendiary Clergy
General Convention #81 (2024) approves Resolution A135, encouraging each diocese to consider paying all active, non-stipendiary clergy, of any order under the age of 72, a minimum of $25 per month.

Diocesan Deacon Compensation Resolutions
These dioceses have passed a convention resolution which includes remuneration for deacons, allowing for participation in the Church Pension Fund. (Send us your diocese's resolution.)
AED does not take a position on deacon compensation. These materials are for reference only.
