The Fund for the Diaconate

​The Fund for the Diaconate is an independent nonprofit organization, not part of the Association for Episcopal Deacons. The Fund performs a vital service by assisting Episcopal deacons and those in diaconal formation, who have insufficient funds for their needs. ​

The Fund for the Diaconate provides

• Needs-based grants in four types: Regular, Declared-emergency, Medical, and Diaconal Formation
• Hallenbeck Fellowship awards to enable attendance at conferences or educational events
• Planned Giving opportunities, to support deacons in need​
