Your donation to AED helps strengthen diaconal ministry

As part of the Advancing the Diaconate campaign, we invite your donation to AED. Join others in this effort to support and improve the lives of Episcopal deacons throughout their ministry.
The Association for Episcopal Deacons is a membership association of persons and dioceses within The Episcopal Church whose mission is to increase participation and involvement of all baptized persons in Christ's diaconal ministry, especially by promoting and supporting the diaconate. We provide resources, materials and connections at no cost, in thanks to generous contributions from those interested in strengthening diaconal ministry.
Donations enable AED to:
  • Provide Diakoneo magazine 4 times per year
  • Offer a discounted rate for AED events, including the Archdeacon and Deacon Directors Conference (A3D), and Life & Work of Deacons
  • Offer a discounted rate for CALL (Center for Anglican Learning and Leadership) courses and other resources and courses
  • Support the ministry of deacons in the US, Canada and around the world
  • Enable the sharing of diaconal resources
  • Publish our monthly email Deacon Update
AED also:
  • Facilitates communications among deacons and all ministers
  • Provides online platforms for deacons to share information
  • Provides leadership and resources for workshops and conferences on the diaconate
  • Represents the diaconal voice in the leadership structures of the Episcopal Church
Your donation makes possible these benefits to deacons and much more. Thank you!
