by Richard L. Jeske. Monograph Series #13, 2002. 10 page pdf.

A paper presented by Juske, a Lutheran pastor at
the LERNEDEO Seminar, National Workshop on Christian Unity in 2002, in which he describes the evolving role of diaconal ministers within the Lutheran Church in particular and the Church in general. He emphasizes the role of diaconal functionaries in preserving the unity of the church at a time when disunity in local faith communities can lead to clergy burn-out.
