By The 1986 Sindicators Meeting; NAAD monograph series #4; 1999. 9 page pdf

Sindicators, a think-tank of church leaders, met to discuss issues in the development of total ministry. The 11th year meeting in 1986 focused on deacons and diaconal ministry. The topics were: encouraging all Christian people in ministry beyond the gathered church community, and how the renewal of the diaconate in particular fits in with the larger question of ongoing empowerment of the laos for extra-parochial ministry.
