Question #1
How do you envision contributing to the AED Board?  What are your special talents and gifts?

In my AED Board service to date, I have contributed through conference participation, Finance Committee service, advocacy discussions, and initial outreach to EPN about diaconal tracks that may give us a more sustainable avenue for a version of Triennial. I am a Board member who shows up, listens well, builds bridges, brings joy and thoughtfulness to discussions, and advocates for Deacons and AED.

Question #2

What is your vision for the future of the Association for Episcopal Deacons?

I see AED at a variety of tables as the primary advocacy group for our greater Community of Deacons, working to build awareness, support, and stronger partnerships for the Order with The Episcopal Church (TEC), CPG, the Fund for the Diaconate, Dioceses, and diaconal education providers. AED is the primary gatherer of information and the resource base for those ordained, and a key resource for those in formation. AED is one of the strongest and most real voices out there for the diaconate, as an organization and through its active members
