How do you envision contributing to the AED Board? What are your special talents and gifts? What is your vision for the future of the Association for Episcopal Deacons? My goal in service to the AED Board is to serve the deacons of the church in organizational ways that support them in their ministries in their churches and in the world. I have a broad experience in serving in the community in hospice work; chaplain and home visitor; poverty efforts through organizations; jail and prison ministry and now in a Hispanic missional church. My skill set includes envisioning and developing programs; recruiting affiliates and volunteers; non-profit organizations and liaison with institutions; publicity; journalism. I have worked in a non-profit organization for over 10 years and am studying Spanish. |
