How do you envision contributing to the AED Board? What are your special talents and gifts? I have over 20 years of experience as an internal auditor and have a sound understanding of tax-exempt financial reporting. I have also served on the boards of various types of non-profit organizations and provided training to boards on their roles and responsibilities. Additionally, I bring the perspective of a deacon working in small, rural parishes. Question #2 What is your vision for the future of the Association for Episcopal Deacons? I see three primary missions for the AED; 1) support people in discernment and training for the diaconate, 2) advocate the ability of deacons to exercise the full range of their ministries, and 3) to act as a resource for all active and retired deacons. |
